What should you do first, after starting a blog : Things to know before you create a blog : Blog SEO Tips

We are frequently trying to create a successful blog with huge traffic. Many times, we have gotten failure in it. You have to know some important things and tips to standing your blog to a standard level. I have listed them here. You should do them instant after you create a new blog.

1. Select suitable Theme:

  You may feel that, how SEO depends in theme. Search engines doesn't fetch content only. Its also save a cache copy of your pages. Low size pages will be SEO friendly. So, you should select simple and smart theme to your blog. Beautiful themes with lots of pictures are not suit for SEO. Pages should be loaded fast in browsers. In blog, every pages are fixed inside the theme. It is shown again and again with every posts and pages.
  Best is to select default simple theme inside blogger, and edit or customize them. They are small in size and contains low script; specially designed by blogger team, which are smart fit for blogger platform. It is not necessary to getting horse dressed for fast riding.

2. Delete unwanted Pre-loaded Gadgets in Layout section.

  When you create a blogger blog, Many gadgets are initially added in it. You have to remove some of them and set header with a longest picture as your wish. If you are new to blogging and add adsense gadget, until you approved by Google, no ads will be shown in your blog. Pre-loaded features won't likely to see by people.

3. Create a title with SEO friendly keyword.
  Medium size length titles are good for higher rankings. You should write articles related to the title. It means the title is the main keyword for your site. You should upload a banner to your site soon. Once your site has cached by search engines, It takes more time to redo the action again. So better is to make a title banner before you create the blog.

4. Add social like and share buttons.

  Search engines are not only ranking with the quality of your content and page. Their robots are watching you blog's comments,  follower and subscribers. If you get more followers, your blog will be ranked highly. For that, Its necessary to add them in after every posts and sidebars. Ask your relations and family members to comments in your post be first. It will lead else to comments under them. Number of comments with great information also play big role in SEO.

5. Add about me Gadget or Create an about me post.

  A lot of people are not ready to read articles and blog without about me details. They leave your site immediately, if they don't see that. There are many fakers on internet. They want to know who you are and how do you wrote about the title. And also for a standard website, its is necessary and increases your site ranking.

6. Research related to your niche keyword.

  You should research about your niche keyword. Niche keyword means main keyword of your site. Most of the time your blog title is the niche. You can use Google adwords keyword tool to find keywords related to your niche. You should make your future posts with the keywords. You should select reasonable long tail keywords with nearly 1000-9999 searching volume per month.

7. Turn blog view into casual view. 
  Navigation bar is being on in new blogs. Some readers are allergic to read blog views. You should turn off it under navbar, layout. Set main page and post page options in layout, blog posts. You may also change your site address into custom domain starting at 1.99$ per year.

8. Create a logo.
 It isn't very important and doesn't affect much in SEO. You can create a logo 100*100 size in Photoshop yourself. Otherwise, blogger default logo will be shown. Google image gallery is much enough to you. Change logo in Favicon under layout. Clear cookies or use another browser to see your changes.

9. Keep your site fresh and post regularly - Maintenance.
Maintenance is the long term step everywhere. All the contents put into your site should be fresh with your own mind. Don't add any copied content. It may makes your remains waste. Don't feel about errors and grammar mistakes, if English is second language to you. You need to fall before wake up.
